The Nudibranchia Samaras progresses through three distinct stages during its lifecycle. Starting in a compact cocooon structure the creature carefully unfolds and gradually grows, adding new segments along the way.
The form is composed of four branching segments made of a sheer membrane that stretches between a skeletal structure. Each branch converges at a central body that supports a light producing organ.
